Booking the call is half the job. The call happening is the other half, and it is the half that gets dropped.
Booking
- Book onto the round-robin sales-call event, never a personal link. Round robin is what spreads calls across the closers fairly and keeps the assignment automatic.
- The booking links are the ones Jordan and Nate have given you. If you are ever unsure which link is current, ask — a booking on a retired event lands nowhere useful. (Every active event and which of them count as sales calls is listed in the portal under Funnels → Booking events.)
- Get the right email and phone on the booking. Everything downstream — the reminder, the confirmation card, the closer's brief — is matched on those.
What happens the moment they book
Automation does all of this without you:
- The call is written to BOOKED CALLS with the closer it was assigned to.
- The lead moves to Call Booked in Close.
- A card posts to #3-e-booked-calls, carrying their application answers — including their budget.
If you booked a call and no card appeared in #3-e-booked-calls, something is wrong. Say so in #1-b-team-general-chat. Do not assume it worked.
Confirming — the actual job
A booked call that is never confirmed is a coin flip. Your Close queues are built around this:
| Queue | What it is telling you |
|---|---|
| 1 · 💻 CALLS TODAY | Someone has a call today. Nothing outranks this. |
| 2 · 📆 TOMORROW — UNCONFIRMED | Tomorrow's calls with nobody having spoken to them. Confirm them today. |
| 3 · 📞 NEEDS CONFIRMING | Booked, never spoken to. |
Log the confirmation as a 👤 Dial Completed activity in Close like any other dial, with the outcome that says what happened. That is what puts it in the Dials tab and in the closer's brief — and it is what posts to #3-d-confirmed-calls.
Reschedules and cancellations
- A reschedule is a good outcome. Get it moved rather than letting it no-show; the old and new bookings are linked automatically.
- A cancellation posts to #3-f-cancelled-calls. Work it like a live lead — a cancellation is a conversation, not a corpse.
No-shows
- They land in #4-g-no-show and in queue 8 · 👻 NO SHOW — RESCUE.
- Speed matters more here than anywhere else in your day. A no-show contacted inside the hour rebooks far more often than one contacted tomorrow.
- Rebooking a no-show is a normal booking — same round-robin event, same confirmation job afterwards.
The thing that decides whether the call is any good
What you write in the dial notes becomes the closer's pre-call brief. Two lines of "seemed keen" produces a closer walking in blind. What they want, what they have tried, what the money situation is and what they were promised on the call — that is what makes the difference between a booked call and a held, closed call.
